The question is, how do you cut through the noise in a busy marketplace? Case study videos are one surefire method. Rich content pieces that don't just talk about what you do but real stories about the difference your business makes. Here at Headroom Films, we enable companies to tell such stories with our bespoke Case Study Video Packages.
Why Case Study Videos Matter
Why invest in case study videos? First, they do an excellent job building trust. Rather than telling prospects how great your services are, you show them. A well-tailored case study video will depict successes showcasing proof that you can do what you say you can.
These videos are also quite engaging. It is in the way the visuals and stories put up that the attention of the people is held together to stick with what you have to say, and this helps your audience connect better with what you say. They can also explain complicated ideas in an easier way for your audience to understand what you do. This works wonders on your website, in social media, and even in email campaigns.
Our Filming Day: How It Works
When you work with us, we follow a structured process in an effort to capture every part of your story. Here's a look at how a typical filming day unfolds:
Morning: The Interview
We begin the day by interviewing your key stakeholders. This is where the heart of your case study video would be: this could be a client telling his story or a team member discussing the nuts and bolts of the project. What we are trying to do here is elicit insights and testimony that speak highly of the work your company does.
All our director needs to do with your package is either to lead the interview or, if you so wish, have a person from your team lead the conversation. This provides flexibility in and control over messaging. On a simple approach, we usually film an interview with one camera; where you opt to use two cameras, we get different angles. This adds a nice dynamic feel to the final video and makes editing much smoother.
Afternoon: Shooting Cutaways
Once the interview is wrapped up, we get to the really fun part-cutaway filming. Additional footage to help tell the story visually might include shots of your office, your team in action, or even your products in real-life use.
This is important because the cutaway shots break up the interview footage to keep the video visually interesting and engaging to viewers. Rather than a straight interview, your audience gets a rich mix of visuals that support the story being told.
Flexible Options to Suit Your Needs
We know every business is different, so we have crafted our case study video packages to be flexible.
For something a little more low-key, our Solo Filmmaker Package is great. With only one camera operator, the solution is pretty efficient and effective. We can provide an autocue if your interviewees would feel more comfortable following a script.
Our Full Crew Package is a complete package of a production team that will include several cameras and sound and light specialists. This gives your video that polished look and allows us to capture every detail with beauty and with such presence to make the video a standout piece of content.
Getting the Most from Your Video
Once we have created your case study video, the uses are endless to help drive business success:
Website: Showcase it on your home page or have a case studies page.
Social Media: Take the snippets and teasers from within the video to post on LinkedIn, Instagram, or whatever your flavor-of-the-month platform might be.
Email: Embed this into your email marketing strategy for better engagement.
Sales Pitches: Showing this during presentations to prospective clients gives them a real show and tell of what you are made of. Ready to Tell Your Story?
It's a phenomenon we here at Headroom Films love: knowing how we can support businesses in sharing their successes with case study videos. Our flexible packages cater to your needs, be it a simple shoot or high-end production.
